Your trash will be collected 1x week on FRIDAY.
Bulk will be collected monthly on the 2nd Friday

No service on the following holidays:

- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Years Day

Bulk collection will occur MONTHLY on the second Friday of the month

Acceptable Waste:

  • Limit of three (3) cubic yard maximum bulk waste (approximately 6ft x 6ft x 3ft)
  • White goods, including washers/dryers/refrigerators/freezers (Note: appliances must have freon removed and be tagged by licensed contractor prior to placing on curb for collection)
  • Small furniture, mattresses
  • Brush tied in bundles
  • Bagged green waste**

Unacceptable Waste:

  • Waste classified as Hazardous or Special Waste which may violate or endanger nay person, party, permit, condition, legal or regulatory requirement or facilities, or present a danger to the health or safety of the public or employees.
  • These include, but no limited to:
  • Construction and demolition debris
  • Hazardous waste
  • Medical waste
  • Rocks, dirt, concrete, dimensional lumber, tree limbs larger than 4 inches in diameter and 49 inches in length 

** Bagged green waste is preferred in the trash cart (dark gray with green lid); waste must completely fit in cart with lid closed.

Frequently Asked Questions

To prevent any future problems, we ask that you bag any waste being placed in the gray and green Frontier Trash cart to help minimize loose trash/debris on street during service, odors, and the need to wash carts frequently.
Frontier Waste will begin service for residents on Monday, May 1st.
No. The new trash carts will be delivered without additional cost. They will be serviced once per week. If the 95-gal cart is not sufficient, an additional cart may be requested for an additional monthly rate though the City.

If your new 95-gal carts don’t meet your family’s needs, you can contact the City 903.532.5571 to request an additional cart for an additional monthly rate.

Yes, the recycling truck will be a different unit, but both trucks will operate in the “Side-Load” mechanical arm function.
Carts should be placed with the lid opening facing the street and the wheels closest to the curb. Each cart should be a minimum of 4ft from any objects including mailboxes, fire hydrants, cars, other carts, etc.
