Holiday Schedule

In the event that your regular collection day falls on Monday, December 25th, or Monday, January 1st, your trash will be collected on the subsequent service day, Thursday. Additionally, your recyclables will be collected on Saturday, December 30th, and subsequently on your ordinarily scheduled day, Monday, January 8th.

  • Flyer PDF
  • All trash must be in plastic bags or garbage cans/carts weighing no more than 35-pounds when full. Households are limited to 10 bags or four cans/carts per collection.

 

  • Acceptable Bulky Waste:
    • Limit of two (2) cubic yard maximum bulk waste (approximately the size of 2 carts stacked together)
    • White goods, including washers/dryers/refrigerators/freezers (Note: appliances must have freon removed and be tagged by licensed contractor prior to placing on curb for collection)
    • Small furniture, mattresses
    • Brush tied in bundles
    • Bagged green waste

 

  • Unacceptable Waste:
    • Waste classified as Hazardous or Special Waste which may violate or endanger nay person, party, permit, condition, legal or regulatory requirement or facilities, or present a danger to the health or safety of the public or employees.
    • These include, but no limited to:
    • Construction and demolition debris
    • Hazardous waste
    • Medical waste
    • Rocks, dirt, concrete, dimensional lumber, tree limbs larger than 6 inches in diameter and 49 inches in length

    • Uncoated paperboard (cereal boxes, food boxes, snack boxes)
    • Uncoated printing and office paper
    • Uncoated corrugated cardboard

 

  •  Non-Recyclable
    • Plastic bags
    • Ceramics
    • Light bulbs
    • Soiled paper (pizza boxes, paper plates and cups
    • Metal and glass cookware
    • Food waste
    • Napkins, paper towels, paper plates, and plastic utensils

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All trash must be in plastic bags or garbage cans/carts weighing no more than 35-pounds when full. Households are limited to 10 bags or four smaller cans/carts per collection.

  • You will also have 2cu yds of Bulky waste collected with each waste collection day. Please refer to the “Trash & Bulk Services” tab for acceptable bulky items.

  • Do NOT bag recycle. Any accepted recycle needs to be placed LOOSELY in the provided, blue Frontier Recycle cart. Plastic bags are not recyclable & will cause your recycle to be contaminated.

  • Place your cart facing the street with the wheels/handle towards the house *Please do NOT place under any low hanging wires or power lines bagging your trash will reduce molls & spills carts should be 4 ft from mailboxes, cars, or other carts.

  • Frontier Waste will begin service for residents on Monday, October 2nd.

  • No. The new recycling carts will be delivered without additional cost. They will be serviced once per week. If the 95-gal cart is not sufficient, an additional cart may be requested for an additional monthly rate though the City. If you would like a smaller cart, you can request a 65-gal cart from the City.

  • If your new 95-gal carts don’t meet your family’s needs, you can contact the City 817-276-4230 to request an additional cart for an additional monthly rate.

  • If you feel as if you could use a smaller recycle cart, you may request a 65-gal cart through the City. If you will not use your recycling cart at all, you may request to have it removed, through the City.

  • Check out the detailed service map via the “Pick-Up Days” Tab. Residents can also check for updated service maps via the City’s website (& entering your address) or the Frontier Waste App.

    • Yes, the recycling truck will be a different unit, but both trucks will operate in the “Side-Load” mechanical arm function.

  • Carts should be placed at the street, no later than, 7:00am.

  • Carts should be placed with the lid opening facing the street and the wheels closest to the curb. Each cart should be a minimum of 4ft from any objects including mailboxes, fire hydrants, cars, other carts, etc.
