First Service with Frontier Waste: Friday, November 21st, 2025
Please have your carts out before 6:30 AM on your service day
When is my Service Day?
-Trash, Recycle, and Bulk Collection will all take place on Friday (new service day)
Where do I Place my Cart?
-Please place your cart at the curb, with the handle facing your house. Avoid placing your cart within 4ft of any mailbox, vehicle, or other objects.
Should my Trash be Bagged?
-To keep your Frontier Waste trash cart in good condition, all trash should be securely bagged and tied before placing it in the cart. For cart service, all waste must fit inside the cart with the lid fully closed—no overflow is allowed.
Additional Cart Request?
Those who regularly have excess trash or recycling can contact the City of Collinsville at 903-429-6225 to request an additional cart. An additional fee will be added to your account.
Recycling Services
Recycling will be collected on the same day as your trash!
Please do NOT bag recyclables!
Accepted Recyclable Items:
- Aluminum beverage cans
- Plastic containers/bottles numbered #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #7 (Ex: Water, detergent, shampoo, etc.)
- Glass bottles / jars: clear, green, and brown
- Steel and tin food cans
- Newspaper, Junk Mail, Envelopes, Magazines
- Boxboard (Ex: cereal, food, snack boxes, etc.)
- Printing and office paper
- Cardboard
Please DO NOT place these items in your BLUE recycle cart:
- NO Plastic bags
- NO Ceramics
- NO Light bulbs
- NO Soiled paper (paper plates/cups)
- NO Metal and glass cookware
- NO Kids toys (stuffed animals, hard plastic toys, etc)
- NO Food waste
- NO Napkins, paper towels, paper plates, and plastic utensils
- NO YARD WASTE (Ex: grass, leaves, dirt, etc.)
- NO batteries or electronics
- NO Styrofoam
- NO clothing or shoes
- NO tanglers (Ex: rope, electrical cords, garden hose, string lights)
- NO large scrap metal objects
- NO paint or chemicals •NO propane or helium tanks
- NO window or plate glass
- NO construction waste
- NO diapers
Bulk & Brush Collection
Bulk & Brush material will be serviced weekly on Friday!
You can set out 3 cu yd each week! This is a general guideline for determining bulk sizing. 1 cubic yard is equivalent to the size of 1 Trash cart. 3 cubic yards = 3 Trash carts.
Acceptable Items:
- Old furniture & boxes (must be broken down)
- Bagged yard waste Tree trimmings cut in 4 foot lengths securely tied and bundled (not to exceed 50 lbs with no limbs exceeding 6 inches in diameter)
- Appliances (Per Federal Law, all appliances that previously contained refrigerant or Freon must have it removed by a certified technician and certification must be attached to appliance when placed out for collection).
Unacceptable Items:
- Tires/Car parts
- Hazardous waste – gasoline, oil, chemicals
- Construction materials (brick, concrete)
- Dirt, rocks
- Paint
- Propane / helium tanks
- Contractor generated tree debris
- Contractor generated construction debris
Holiday Schedule
Frontier Waste will not operate on New Years Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
In the event your scheduled service day coincides with a holiday, service will occur the following day. So, if a holiday falls on a Friday (service day) your collection day will be pushed to Saturday.

Frontier is closed on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Similar to your current service schedule, if the holiday falls on a Friday, your Trash, Recycling, & Bulk will be collected on the next day, Saturday.
