Recycling will be collected one (1) time per week on a designated day that matches one of your scheduled trash days.

Items that can be recycled:

  • Newspapers, Magazines, Junk Mail, Office Paper
  • Cardboard, Boxboard (EX: Beverage can boxes)
  • Aluminum cans, Metal, / Tin Cans (Green Bean Cans)
  • Plastic Bottles, Jugs, Containers numbered #1, 2, 3, 5 and 7
  • Glass Bottles and Jars (clear, green, amber)

 

Why can’t I use plastic bags for recycling?

Plastic bags contaminate the recycling stream and damage the machinery used to process recycling. No plastic bags!

Any recycled items placed in plastic bags will be treated as trash and not be be recycled.

PLEASE DO NOT BAG YOUR RECYCLABLES IN PLASTIC BAGS AND PUT THEM IN YOUR RECYCLING CART.

  • Trash will be collected two (2) times per week on your scheduled collection days.
  • Please review the trash service day map for more information on your collection day.
  • Please have your cart out prior to 7 AM on your service day to ensure service.
  • Bag and tie your trash to reduce spills and reduce wind blown material.
  • Place your cart at least 3 feet from other obstructions such as vehicles, mailboxes, or other carts.

Frontier Waste will collect bulk and brush waste every two (2) weeks on the same day as your recycling collection. Please refer to the collection calendar and service map to determine your scheduled service week.
 
 
 
 
Guidelines:
  • Please have your bulk and brush items out prior to 7AM on your bulk and brush day to ensure service.
  • Bulk Items include: small furniture, mattresses, rugs, televisions, fence material, and other similar oversized items customary to ordinary housekeeping operations of a residential unit.
  • NOT ALLOWED: Debris resulting from the services of a commercial service provider, white goods, Household Hazardous Waste, e-waste, and tires.

  • Household Hazardous Waste
  • Commercial Service Debris 
  • E-Waste (computers, electronics, batteries, etc.) 
  • Construction Debris 
  • Appliances 
  • Tires and car parts

Holiday Schedule:

Frontier will observe three (3) holidays a year: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. 
 
If your service falls on a holiday, service will be provided on the next scheduled collection date!
