Residential Service Guidelines
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your RECYCLE collection day will be changing to SATURDAY!
Your BULK collection day (brush and yard waste) will be on WEDNESDAY each week!
Do not place Frontier carts out for collection until Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025.
Please have carts out before 6:30 a.m. on your service day to ensure service is completed.
Recycling Guidelines
Please DO NOT bag recyclables!
Accepted Recyclable Items:
- Aluminum beverage cans
- Plastic containers/bottles numbered #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #7 (e.g., water, detergent, shampoo)
- Glass bottles/jars: clear, green, and brown
- Steel and tin food cans
- Newspaper, junk mail, envelopes, magazines
- Boxboard (e.g., cereal, food, snack boxes)
- Printing and office paper
- Cardboard
Unacceptable Recyclables:
- Plastic bags, ceramics, light bulbs, soiled paper
- Metal and glass cookware, toys, food waste, napkins
- Yard waste, batteries, electronics, Styrofoam, clothing, tanglers, scrap metal
- Paint, propane/helium tanks, window glass, construction waste, diapers
Bulk & Brush Collection
Acceptable Items:
- Old furniture, boxes (broken down), bagged yard waste
- Tree trimmings cut to 4-foot lengths, securely tied and bundled (not exceeding 50 lbs, no limbs over 6 inches in diameter)
- Appliances (must have refrigerant/Freon removed by a certified technician, with certification attached for collection)
Unacceptable Items:
- Tires, car parts, hazardous waste, construction materials (brick, concrete), dirt, rocks, paint, propane and helium tanks, contractor-generated debris
Bulk/Brush Material Service:
- Serviced weekly on Wednesday.
- You can set out 4 cubic yards each week (equivalent to 4 trash carts).
Holiday Schedule
Frontier is closed on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
If the holiday falls on a Wednesday, your trash and recycling will be collected on Saturday (the second trash service day) that week.
Service Days

Recycling Collection: SATURDAY (service day is changing as of 2/1/25).

Continue using your existing cart until January 29, 2025 (final Waste Connections service day).
Leave your old Waste Connections/Progressive Waste recycling cart at the curb after it is serviced on Wednesday (1/29/25) for removal by Waste Connections’ crew.
