Aledo grew up beside the Texas and Pacific Railway as a shipping point for area farmers, the Handbook of Texas notes, and it still sits on FM 1187 with pasture and small acreage around it. Beyond the city limits, homes, ranches, acreage and building lots can pick whichever roll-off fits the job. Inside Aledo, we serve contractors and businesses with job-site roll-offs and bins from 2 to 8 yards.

How a Frontier drop works

  1. 1

    Tell us the job

What’s going in the container, and where it has to sit.

  2. 2

    Get the right size

Heavy debris like shingles and concrete goes in a smaller box. Bulky junk goes in a bigger one.

  3. 3

    We set it down

On firm, level ground with a clear approach for the truck.

  4. 4

    Call when it’s full

We haul it away and handle the disposal.

Most of 76008 lives outside the city

Most people with an Aledo mailing address don’t live in the city of Aledo. The 2020 Census counted 21,844 residents in the 76008 ZIP Code area and 4,858 inside the city limits, where the 2010 Census had found 2,716. Traffic tells the same story: at TxDOT’s July 17, 2025 public meeting on widening FM 1187 through town, its slides put traffic growth on FM 1187 east of the FM 5 intersection at 185% between 2019 and 2023.

If your 76008 address sits outside the city, you can book any of our roll-offs directly. The 30-yard card names junk removal and home renovation, the load a move-in or an old farmhouse gut job tends to make; framing a new house on a fresh lot calls for the 40, the size carded for large construction.

Pasture, barns and 10-to-49-acre places

Parker County is small-acreage country. The USDA’s 2022 Census of Agriculture counted 4,379 farms in the county, and 2,280 of them were 10 to 49 acres; pastureland made up 209,968 of the 341,108 acres in farms, and livestock, poultry and their products brought in 88% of farm sales. Clearing a place like that sorts itself by job:

A barn or shed coming down: the 40-yard, which our size cards list for demolition.

Fence rows and cleared brush: the 40 again, listed for large landscaping work.

A shop, tack room or garage cleanout: the 30 for junk removal, or the 20 when it’s heavy debris.

Parker County’s right-of-way rules keep fences, landscaping and private signs off county road right-of-way, so plan the drop inside your fence line. Here’s help sizing a container for barn and fence work, and for places farther west, see our roll-off rentals around the county seat.

Wind on I-30, hail northeast of town

NOAA’s Storm Events Database tracks the weather on both sides of the Tarrant–Parker line. On March 2, 2023, a ham radio operator measured a 68 mph gust on I-30 at the county line, about three miles east-northeast of Aledo, NOAA records. Early on March 4, 2025, high winds overturned RVs near the 14500 block of White Settlement Road in Parker County, and NOAA notes that one woman was taken to the hospital. Then on the night of April 25, 2026, a trained spotter’s photo showed 2.5-inch hail northeast of Aledo, according to the same database. When a storm strips a roof out here, line up roofing roll-offs for Parker County re-roofs before the crew starts.

Aledo dumpster rental questions

Does Parker County issue a building permit for work outside Aledo?

No. According to the County's Permitting page, Parker County hands out neither building permits nor certificates of occupancy, and its unincorporated areas have no zoning. It does permit septic systems and regulate development in special flood hazard areas, and anyone planning a commercial or multifamily project should contact the County Fire Marshal's office for a fire and life safety review before construction. Hauling the debris away is up to the owner or builder: our 40-yard card names large construction, and the 20 takes concrete and bricks.

What does Aledo require before a building comes down?

A City demolition permit (Section 10-216 of Aledo's code) and a site kept secure for the whole job (Section 10-219). Section 10-223 allows 60 days from the permit's issue date to finish, foundation included, after which the applicant has to clear the premises of all debris, ask for an inspection, and fill and grade the excavations; Section 10-225 has permits expire after 30 days unless the building official grants a 30-day extension. In the downtown business district, a building more than 50 years old needs Planning and Zoning review and City Council approval first (Section 10-221). Demolition is on our 40-yard card.

Which towns near Aledo use Frontier for trash pickup?

White Settlement, at Fort Worth's western edge in Tarrant County, is one: Frontier is its official waste service provider, and White Settlement's every-other-month bulk pickup is posted on our site. Mineral Wells, in east central Palo Pinto County, is another; see Frontier's service page for Mineral Wells. In both cities, residents get trash and recycling pickup from us under the city's contract.
