How a Frontier drop works

  1. 1

    Tell us the job

What’s going in the container, and where it has to sit.

  2. 2

    Get the right size

Heavy debris like shingles and concrete goes in a smaller box. Bulky junk goes in a bigger one.

  3. 3

    We set it down

On firm, level ground with a clear approach for the truck.

  4. 4

    Call when it’s full

We haul it away and handle the disposal.

From a mine-warfare base to crude export docks

Big operations on the water have shaped Ingleside for decades. In 1987 the Port of Corpus Christi Authority deeded 576.615 acres to the Navy for Naval Station Ingleside, a 2009 Texas Senate Research Center bill analysis says, and the Port’s own history lists the base opening in 1988. That analysis adds that the station became homeport to the Navy’s Mine Warfare Force and that the Defense Department recommended closing it in its 2005 base-closure round; in 2012, according to the Port’s history, it signed a sales agreement with Oxy Ingleside for the former naval station property.

Enbridge now calls its Ingleside Energy Center the largest crude oil export terminal by volume in North America, and on May 8, 2026 the company reported a Phase VII expansion there that added 2.5 million barrels of storage. Inside the city limits, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2026-04 on February 10, 2026, rezoning land west of FM 1069 from single-family residential to industrial. Builders putting up or expanding commercial and industrial sites in Ingleside can line up job-site roll-offs for industrial contractors.

Alley pickup or a six-foot screen

Section 46-5 of Ingleside’s code spells out where a dumpster on garbage service may sit. A property backing onto an alley that a truck can use keeps the dumpster in the alley, clear of traffic and out of view from the street. Where there’s no such alley, the same section has the building official choose the spot, weighing safety, appearance, cost and access for the business and the collection truck, and it puts any dumpster outside an alley behind a screen fence at least six feet tall, built of wood, slatted chain-link, concrete block or concrete. Section 46-27 calls for business bins to sit outdoors on a hard surface the truck can reach. Our 2, 3 and 4-yard bins can come on casters for a snug enclosure, with lid locks on request; read how bin service works for a small shop.

4th Street rescues and the Gulf-storm brush rule

NOAA’s storm records show Ingleside flooding more than once. Flooding on September 19, 2010 affected 17 homes and 3 businesses in Ingleside, those records say, and on May 15 and 16, 2016, as much as 10 to 15 inches of rain fell on Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Flour Bluff and south Corpus Christi by NOAA’s count, while the Ingleside Fire Department pulled residents from flooded homes on 4th Street. A squall line on March 19, 2016 uprooted large trees in town and damaged the roof of a Conoco station, the same records add.

Hurricane season carries a City rule of its own. Once a named tropical system is in the Gulf of Mexico, Section 46-26 of the code bars setting brush, green waste or bulky trash out at the easement, and property owners must have it removed before landfall. A business clearing its grounds ahead of a storm, or tearing out wet drywall after one, can keep a roll-off on site; see gutting a flood-soaked storefront.

Ingleside dumpster rental questions

Is Ingleside on the Bay part of Ingleside?

No. Ingleside on the Bay is its own incorporated city; the Census Bureau estimated its population at 604 as of July 1, 2025. NOAA's storm records note that much of its low-lying ground went under water during coastal flooding on October 6, 2017. We serve it the way we serve Ingleside: businesses and contractors on commercial jobs there can book a bin or a roll-off at (936) 258-9035.

Can a contractor burn brush cleared outside the city limits?

Only on the property where it was cleared, and only within state rules. San Patricio County's Fire Marshal page links to the TCEQ's outdoor burning guide, which says land-clearing material may be burned only at the site of the clearing, so a tree service can't haul limbs to other land and burn them there. The same guide says business waste such as boxes and pallets can't be burned at all, and its general requirements keep treated lumber, plastics and non-wood construction or demolition materials out of any fire. When burning is off the table, the 40-yard is the box our cards list for landscaping; compare the 40 against the smaller boxes.

Who can rent from you in unincorporated San Patricio County?

Everyone. Beyond any city's limits we deliver to homes, ranches, farms and job sites; 14,037 people lived in that part of San Patricio County on July 1, 2025, by Census Bureau estimates. A rural property that wants trash hauled on a schedule rather than in a one-time container can ask us about regular service at (936) 258-9035. Elsewhere in the county, Aransas Pass and Taft are two of the cities on Frontier's municipal roster.
