Kingsville, the Kleberg County seat, began as a townsite laid out three miles east of the King Ranch headquarters, the Handbook of Texas records, and the Navy says Naval Air Station Kingsville trains half of all Navy and Marine Corps tactical jet pilots each year. Businesses in town and their contractors can book 20 to 40-yard roll-offs or a 2 to 8-yard bin; past the city limits, any ranch, home or job site can too.

How a Frontier drop works

  1. 1

    Tell us the job

What’s going in the container, and where it has to sit.

  2. 2

    Get the right size

Heavy debris like shingles and concrete goes in a smaller box. Bulky junk goes in a bigger one.

  3. 3

    We set it down

On firm, level ground with a clear approach for the truck.

  4. 4

    Call when it’s full

We haul it away and handle the disposal.

Lumber, concrete and Kingsville's City dumpsters

Trash collection in Kingsville is a City operation; its Solid Waste Collections Division reports serving more than 7,500 homes and businesses each month. Its routes draw clear lines for a business:

The City’s commercial dumpster is for day-to-day trash. Tires, concrete, dirt, large rocks, lumber, hot ashes and construction material are barred from City roll-out carts and commercial dumpsters alike, the City’s sanitation page says.

City brush and white-goods pickups serve houses. The brush crew skips businesses, apartment complexes, churches and vacant lots, and white goods go out from residential properties only.

A roll-off from us handles the rest: torn-out drywall, flooring, cabinets and framing from a storefront refit or an office build-out.

The City code backs that up. Under Section 5-1-42, whoever controls brick, broken concrete, roofing, carpet or lumber left by residential or commercial construction or demolition has to keep it in commercial waste receptacles, metal roll-off containers among them, or dispose of it within one week of when it was generated. Here’s more on containers for build-outs and tenant remodels.

Brahma Boulevard in 2016, Corral Avenue in 2019

Kingsville roofs have come apart in the wind more than once. On May 31, 2016, the strongest storms crossing Kleberg County produced three tornadoes, NOAA’s storm records say. One EF-1 touched down where Brahma Boulevard meets East General Cavazos Boulevard and crossed Business 77 near Otis Street, breaking windows and peeling shingles off an apartment complex, per the same records. Another came off FM 1717 and crossed Highway 77 into Dick Kleberg Park, where it threw the bleachers 300 yards and tore roofing from a metal building; the Weather Service’s survey put both at 110 mph.

North Kingsville got its turn on June 6, 2019, when a downburst did its worst along Corral Avenue: a Weather Service survey estimated 80 to 90 mph winds, the Naval Air Station Kingsville weather station measured 77 mph, and 15 structures took moderate to major damage. Shingles and decking from a commercial roof fit the 20 or 30-yard, and mixed storm debris is listed on the 40-yard card; see a roll-off for a downburst-damaged roof.

Storm damage at your shop, office or job site?

King Ranch country and the Riviera relief route

King Ranch dates its start to 1853, when Captain Richard King bought a creek-fed oasis in the Wild Horse Desert, and today it covers 825,000 acres by the ranch’s own count. The Census Bureau’s July 1, 2025 estimates count 5,627 Kleberg County residents living outside any city, in unincorporated communities such as Ricardo and Riviera and out along the county roads. Our roll-offs go to homes, barns, pens and job sites there, and a ranch that would rather have trash hauled on a schedule can ask about bulk and regular trash pickups for rural properties.

South of town, US 77 is next in line. TxDOT’s Corpus Christi District is upgrading it to interstate standards with the Riviera Relief Route, about 5.5 miles of four-lane divided freeway on new location east of Riviera, planned as part of the future I-69; its project page says all needed right-of-way has been acquired and gave fall 2025 as the expected start of construction. Road and site contractors working out in the county can book a roll-off for each job.

Mesquite, brush and the Borrega fire

The Borrega fire started on the afternoon of March 30, 2022, south of FM 2295 on King Ranch west of Kingsville, and NOAA’s storm records say gusts up to 50 mph with humidity down to 10 to 15 percent drove it across 50,186 acres of western Kleberg County. The same records say voluntary evacuations covered Ricardo and Riviera until April 3. Brush cut from a lot, a pen or a fence line can leave in a roll-off rather than sit in a pile, and the 40-yard is the size our cards give to landscaping. Check which box suits a brush-clearing job before you call.

Kingsville dumpster rental questions

Who has to arrange the container on a Kingsville job site?

The contractor does. Kingsville's garbage article treats a construction or repair contractor, or a landscape or tree service, as the generator of the waste its work creates, and Section 5-1-42 makes the contractor at a building, remodeling or construction site responsible for enough approved containers, lids or doors kept shut between loads, and disposal at a facility the TCEQ authorizes. Call (936) 258-9035 and tell us what's coming out of the building.

Where should the roll-off go at a Kingsville business?

On the lot, not the street. Section 5-1-43 of the City code prohibits placing "any article, thing or material" in any street or alley inside the city limits. A parking area, drive or pad works when it's hard and flat, with at least 60 feet for our truck to approach and 21 feet clear overhead, and you can ask for a free site survey before delivery.

Can you bring a container out to a ranch or a rural home in Kleberg County?

Yes. Beyond Kingsville's city limits, ranch headquarters, houses, barns and job sites can rent whichever of our three roll-off sizes fits, whether the address is in Ricardo, in Riviera or down a county road between them. Got work over in Alice as well? See our Alice roll-off page. For a delivery here, give us the county road or gate at (936) 258-9035.
