Our 20-Yard San Antonio dumpster
When you have a small home, garage or apartment clean-outs, you get the 20 yard San Antonio dumpster. A residential dumpster rental San Antonio are for 20-yard and 30-yard containers because they cover a wide range of projects, such as roofing, large brush removal, and landscaping and more.
The 20-yard roll-off is equipped to handle concrete debris, construction debris, asphalt shingles, dirt and most non-hazardous household materials.
Our 30-Yard San Antonio dumpster
One of the most requested roll-off container sizes is the 30-yard roll-off container. This size can cover most construction projects, office junk removal, commercial office garbage collection and large events. As a community garbage bin for a project site or home, the 30-yard serves to collect all construction debris and special purpose needs.
Our 40-Yard San Antonio dumpster
If you need to go big, you order the 40-yard San Antonio dumpster. This is the biggest size in the industry due to the weight limitations stated by the DOT (Department Of Transportation). These industrial roll-off containers are good for disposing of a large volume of material. The material can’t be too dense do weight restrictions so this limits the material to recycling, condo/apartment roofing projects, commercial building cleanouts, and new construction projects.
Rental prices in the Alamo City
The cost of a roll-off service is not the same for every client in Alamo City. We calculate your price based on:
- Size of your container
- Distance from the transfer station
- Weight of the material you’re hauling
- Length of time for your rental
If you want the fastest and most accurate pricing, fill out the request a quote form and we’ll have a specialist in your area call you back in minutes. Our pricing is upfront with no hidden fees.
What San Antonio's curbside pickups won't take
The City’s curbside brush and bulky collections each come around twice a year. Piles have to stay at 8 cubic yards or less and within 8 feet of the curb. Brush piles can’t include construction, roofing or demolition material, and the City’s fines run up to $2,000 a day. Renovation debris, a roof tear-off or a whole-house cleanout won’t fit that system. Those are roll-off jobs.
Drop-off centers or a container at the house?
For a carload, the City’s bulky drop-off centers work fine:
- Bitters, 1800 Wurzbach Parkway
- Frio City Road, 1531 Frio City Road
- Culebra, 7030 Culebra Road
- Rigsby Road, 2755 Rigsby Road
Bulky items are limited to four cubic yards and construction debris to one, and household trash isn’t accepted. Paint and chemicals go to the household hazardous waste drop-off at 7030 Culebra Road. It’s open Tuesday through Friday, 8 to 5, and Saturday, 8 to noon. Bring a CPS Energy bill and a photo ID.
Past those limits, a 20-yard at the house holds about six pickup-truck loads, and none of it rides in your own truck.
Planning a remodel or a roof?
Street or driveway?
San Antonio requires right-of-way permits for work that occupies the street or sidewalk. The City handles temporary storage devices through a lane or sidewalk closure permit. A container on your driveway or lot skips that step. If the street really is the only spot, line up the permit before delivery day.
Hail country
San Antonio knows hail. The April 12, 2016 storm dropped 4.5-inch hail about three miles southeast of Helotes, and the National Weather Service put damage estimates around $1.36 billion. A tear-off after a storm like that is a roofing dumpster job, usually the 20-yard.
Trimming oaks? Watch the calendar
The City’s oak wilt guidance says to avoid pruning oaks between February 1 and June 30. Plan tree and brush cleanups from July through January, and see our dumpsters for landscaping crews.

If it takes up a lane or a sidewalk, yes. The City handles temporary storage devices through a lane or sidewalk closure permit. On your driveway or your lot, the right-of-way permit doesn’t come into it.
