*The price of a dumpster rental in Beaumont, TX is based on size, material, time, and distance within the region.
Beaumont grew up on the west bank of the Neches River, and the Spindletop gusher of 1901 made the Jefferson County seat an oil town, the Handbook of Texas notes. City trucks empty household carts and haul heavy trash and limbs, but Beaumont’s code leaves shingles, lumber, brick and other building debris to the owner. Our 20, 30 or 40-yard roll-offs carry it for contractors, businesses and anyone past the city limits; 2 to 8-yard bins handle business trash.

What Beaumont's code leaves to the owner
Beaumont’s heavy-trash crews come by weekly on your regular pickup day, but only for single-family homes; the City says they don’t collect from businesses, churches, apartment buildings, construction sites or vacant lots. Section 22.05.056(d) of the City code also keeps these out of regular collection at any address:
- lumber and other building debris, shingles, siding and insulation
- brick, dirt, plaster, sand and gravel
- scrap metal, wire and large auto parts
The owner pays to have that debris removed. Contractors carry a duty of their own under Section 22.05.007: they must keep refuse receptacles on the job for construction debris, and an inspector can order work stopped until the material is gone. We rent that receptacle to contractors: our 20-yard card lists concrete, bricks and roofing, and the 30-yard is the one for home renovation projects. Before choosing, crews can compare the pickup-load estimates for every size.
Edouard's debris pile, Imelda's floodwater
Tropical Storm Edouard came ashore near Johnson Bayou, Louisiana, on the afternoon of September 1, 2026, then crept northwest over Jefferson County, according to the National Weather Service in Lake Charles, which recorded a 50-knot gust at Beaumont Municipal Airport. The City began a citywide debris pass on September 3. By its September 24 count, crews had collected 578 loads of heavy trash and storm debris, totaling 19,637 cubic yards and 3,228 tons, and the City had brought in three 80-cubic-yard knuckle-boom trucks from a contractor to help.
Imelda did its damage with water. NOAA’s storm records say a band of its remnants dropped more than 30 inches of rain in 12 hours over Jefferson County on September 18 and 19, 2019, flooding more than 5,100 homes, with the water deeper than Harvey’s at some locations. Roofers replacing shingles the wind tore off can read about re-roofing after Edouard’s gusts. For drywall and flooring that a cleanup crew tears out of flooded rooms, the 40-yard card names storm debris.

Carts from the City, bins from a contractor
A Beaumont business may use the same carts the City provides to homes, but Section 22.05.005 of the code says any commercial establishment that wants a bulk container must hire a private contractor to service it, with spills during emptying left to the contractor or the property owner. Apartments, condominiums and duplexes get no City collection unless each unit stands on its own lot along a public street (Section 22.05.055). Placement has rules too: Section 22.05.105 keeps containers owned by private haulers off streets and rights-of-way, and Section 22.05.010 keeps refuse containers off the drainage system. Sizes for businesses inside Beaumont and around it go from a 2-yard bin to an 8-yard; we can service any of them up to six times weekly, and lid locks or gravity bar locks keep contamination out.
Self-hauling to the Lafin Drive landfill
The City’s landfill at 5895 Lafin Drive takes debris that Beaumont homeowners haul in themselves. Residents who show proof of residency, such as a garbage-service utility bill or a driver’s license, aren’t charged for loads from their own single-family home, provided they pay for City garbage service. Roofers, lawn services, tree trimmers and other contractors pay to dump, and business trash is charged no matter who hauls it. The City lists landfill hours as 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Flammable liquids, dangerous chemicals and insecticides need the director’s approval first, under Section 22.05.133 of the code. For a contractor whose tear-out would mean trip after trip with a trailer, and for homeowners outside the city limits, a roll-off on site is the simpler route.

Beaumont dumpster rental questions
Can a roll-off go in the street in front of a Beaumont house?
Not under the City code. Section 22.05.105 bars containers owned by private haulers from any street or right-of-way and has collections made from the customer's own premises, and Section 22.05.010 forbids placing a refuse container on, in or over the drainage system. Contractors working at a house should plan on the driveway or a firm, level spot on the lot. Our trucks need a 60-foot approach and 21 feet of clear air above the spot, so look up for low limbs and lines.
How does the City want storm limbs stacked?
Cut limbs and branches to 8 feet or less, and cut any trunk wider than 12 inches into pieces no more than 2 feet long, the City says. Keep the pile at the curb but clear of mailboxes, fire hydrants, gas meters and utility poles, out from under trees and power lines, and never in the street or a drainage area. On a lot bigger than an acre, Section 22.05.063 leaves land-clearing debris and torn-down barns or sheds outside the acre around the house to the owner, and the clearing or demolition crew hired for that work can rent our 40-yard, whose card covers large landscaping jobs.
Do you deliver outside Beaumont's city limits?
Yes. We deliver past the city limits to homes, job sites and acreage, and up into Hardin County, where Lumberton sits twelve miles north of Beaumont by the Handbook of Texas's count. Read about roll-offs for Hardin County jobs. Give us the address at (936) 258-9035, and we'll match a container to the job and the room it has.
