The Handbook of Texas places Benbrook where Interstate 20 crosses US 377, ten miles southwest of Fort Worth. Inside the city we work for businesses and the crews who build, remodel and re-roof for them, with roll-offs for their job sites and 2 to 8-yard bins for the back lot. West of town, the Census Bureau’s maps show unincorporated Tarrant County running to the Parker County line, and homes, ranches and acreage there can book any roll-off we carry.

How a Frontier drop works

  1. 1

    Tell us the job

What’s going in the container, and where it has to sit.

  2. 2

    Get the right size

Heavy debris like shingles and concrete goes in a smaller box. Bulky junk goes in a bigger one.

  3. 3

    We set it down

On firm, level ground with a clear approach for the truck.

  4. 4

    Call when it’s full

We haul it away and handle the disposal.

Wrecking permits and a seven-day clear-out

Benbrook’s code draws a firm line around building waste. Section 8.04.010 defines construction debris as waste materials from construction, reroofing, remodeling, repair or demolition, earthen material included, and under Section 8.04.030, sanitation crews won’t collect earth, rocks, concrete or shingles, or the waste a building contractor’s construction or remodeling leaves behind. For a tear-off, line up a container for Benbrook reroofing jobs before the crew climbs up.

Teardowns add paperwork. A company that wrecks buildings as a business needs a permit from the City’s building permits and inspections department before it starts, under Section 15.36.010, and the application asks for proof of liability insurance plus the expected start and finish. Once the demolition wraps up, Section 15.36.030 allows seven days to clear all rubbish, debris and materials off the site, and burning the rubble takes a separate City burning permit. Demolition is one of the jobs printed on our 40-yard card.

Benbrook's brim line for business containers

Section 8.04.090 of Benbrook’s code covers every commercial, institutional, industrial or multifamily customer that uses commercial containers, and it splits the load by container type:

Front-load bins: no construction debris, and nothing bulky that stops the lid from closing.

Compactors: no bulky items and no construction debris.

Roll-offs: no part of a bulky item may rise above an imaginary line six inches below the brim.

The same section wants every container kept closed, liquids drained before loading and hazardous waste kept out. In practice, the weekly bin takes the everyday trash, and the shelving from a store refit lies flat in a roll-off. Here’s how front-load bin service from our Fort Worth team is set up for Tarrant County businesses.

Facelifts for older centers on Benbrook Boulevard

The Benbrook Economic Development Corporation’s project list reads like a remodeling schedule. It describes a 1976 shopping center at 3500 Williams Road, where a new owner bought 14 of the 16 units in May 2022, then replaced every window and exterior door, the canopy metal and the suite signage. The same list shows the Commerce Centre at 4800 Benbrook Boulevard, built in 1985 and sold in October 2023, getting stucco and flashing repairs, new gutters, two new fences and new garage doors on its eleven warehouse buildings. On January 20, 2026, the BEDC board toured the future site of a two-restaurant park at the southwest corner of Benbrook Boulevard and Westpark Drive.

The BEDC’s Storefront Improvement Program also offers a 50 percent matching grant for façade and exterior upgrades to existing commercial buildings, with preference for the Benbrook Boulevard/US 377 corridor. Windows, doors, canopies and siding pile up quickly, and roll-offs for a shopping-center facelift take that debris off the lot.

Corps land, a 1955 ordinance and storms at the marinas

The Corps of Engineers began building Benbrook Lake, on the Clear Fork of the Trinity, in May 1947 and closed the floodgates in September 1952, its lake history says, and the Corps still owns all the land around the lake. Benbrook has guarded that ground inside its limits since a 1955 ordinance: Section 12.20.090 bars refuse, rubbish or waste of any kind on reservoir or park land, and Section 12.20.110 allows fines of up to $2,000 for dumping. A job beside Corps land keeps its debris on the lot until it’s hauled.

The lake’s businesses take rough weather, too. NOAA’s Storm Events Database records a March 8, 2016 tornado near the dam that heavily damaged a marina’s boat storage yard, where about 20 boats and several storage sheds were damaged or destroyed. NOAA’s entry for March 21, 2022 has a brief EF0 throwing a floating marina cover about 50 yards on the Dutch Branch arm. Storm debris is 40-yard work on our cards.

Benbrook dumpster rental questions

Will Frontier collect household trash at a Benbrook home?

No. Homes inside Benbrook get trash and recycling through the City's contract, so in town we stick to businesses, contractors and commercial job sites. Past the city limits, a house, ranch or acreage in unincorporated Tarrant or Parker County is welcome to any of our three roll-off sizes. Two other Tarrant County cities name Frontier their official waste service provider; see White Settlement's Frontier collection schedule and Kennedale's bulk and brush pickup guide.

Can I burn brush on acreage outside Benbrook instead of hauling it?

Check with the County first. On August 13, 2026, the Tarrant County Commissioners Court approved a 90-day ban on outdoor burning in unincorporated Tarrant County, the County announced, and breaking it is a Class C misdemeanor. Even without a ban, the County Fire Marshal's rules allow burning only on unincorporated land, only brush, tree limbs, grass clippings, leaves or household trash generated on that property, at least 300 feet downwind of the structures next door, and never construction material. A fence row or a cleared thicket fits the 40-yard, the size our cards list for large landscaping jobs.

What hours can a demolition or remodeling crew work in Benbrook?

Benbrook's Community Development page allows construction, excavation, demolition, alteration and repair work on private buildings Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. under standard time and until 8 p.m. under daylight saving time. Sundays and federal holidays are off-limits, and the City repeated those hours in a reminder posted on August 24, 2026. Schedule the heavy tear-out and loading days inside those windows.
